Public opinion on shale gas

There is a great deal of discussion about shale gas extraction in Europe. Shale gas could be lucrative, but opponents are very worried about safety issues and groundwater pollution. As part of a major study being conducted by the European Energy Research Alliance, Linda Steg is studying public opinion on shale gas.
