Cisca Wijmenga member of KNAW
Professor of Human Genetics Cisca Wijmenga has been appointed a member of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW). Wijmenga and her research group specialize in the genetics of inflammation-related disorders, such as coeliac disease, Crohn’s disease, diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis.
The weekly online video magazine Unifocus highlights topics related to the University of Groningen in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
