Bram Buunk on Lover's Envy
Prof. dr. Bram Buunk, professor of evolutionary social psychology, recently left the University of Groningen. Buunk takes an evolutionary approach to such matters as sexual jealousy, partner choice, rivalry, altruism and status. He said farewell with MinneNijd (Lover’s Envy), an event that saw the meeting of art and science, focusing on his research themes. The Pictura art gallery in Groningen is host to the work of artists depicting the theme of jealousy in matters of the heart. The exhibition will run until 21 October 2012.
