The University of Groningen welcomes Prof. Masaharu Nomachi as the newly appointed Director for the Osaka University European Center for Academic Initiatives. Prof. Nomachi succeeded Prof. Toshiharu Hase on 1 April 2021.

Osaka’s European Centre was opened in Groningen in 2005 to foster academic links between Osaka and its partner institutions in Europe. The Centre has played an important role in strengthening strategic collaboration between our two universities.
