Fair trade and sustainable coffee at the UG
Recently Maas has been chosen as the UG's new coffee supplier. From mid-January onwards the new coffee machines will be installed in all university buildings.
Maas was chosen partly because of its high score in sustainablity and their use of fair trade beans. Their beans are roasted locally in the city, which makes it possible to work on demand. Their logistics are emission free, and the way they operate barely requires the use of package materials. Maas makes coffee cups out of their rest product and offers a discount when you bring your own cup.
