In the last week of May (May 27 - May 31) we will host the Plastic Free Week once again! During this week will try to make people more aware of the amounts of plastic that they use in their daily lives and how they can reduce this. Once again you can participate in the plastic challenge and other exciting activities! Have a look at the programme below.

Want to experience living without plastic for a week? Then join our Plastic challenge! During the Plastic free week we want to challenge you to live without plastics for a week. Sign the form below and we’ll send you a lot of tips and tricks about a plastic free lifestyle next Monday.

Lecture: Nicky Kroon about her experiences as 'zero-waster'

Monday, 27th of May

Nicky Kroon will open the week with a lunch lecture about her (and her sister’s) book ‘Het zero waste project’. She will share her experiences as a ‘zero-waster’ and and give tips on how you can start living with less waste! Perfect inspiration for a life without plastic! Time and location will follow.

Workshop: Sewing

Tuesday, 28th of May

Do you want to use less plastic in your everyday life but don’t you really know how and where to start? Why not start by reducing plastic while doing your groceries! Join our workshop and sew your own reusable fruit/vegetable bag and bread bag. Also pimp up a canvas bag to replace your plastic carrier bags. The workshop takes place on Tuesday the 28th of May at the sewing café Daadkracht (Oosterhamriklaan 181) from 15:00-17:00. There will be some tea and coffee. Note that there are only 15 spots available, so make sure to sign up quickly by filling in the form below!
