ENLIGHT Webinar: Carbon Budgeting and Pricing Systems

As part of the joint effort Greening ENLIGHT Universities, the UG is involved in launching The Carbon Countdown: How do we Budget for a Sustainable Future?

This and many other aspects will be discussed at the first ENLIGHT Webinar on "Carbon Budgeting and Pricing Systems", taking place on 17 September, 14:00-16:00. Three experts will share their insights:

1. How to successfully reduce emissions from academic air travel: Framework requirements, challenges and success factors - The Konstanz Journey!

2. Carbon budgeting at the University of Borås
   Nils Lindh, Administrative Officer, University of Borås (Sweden)
3. CO₂ compensation for air travel from business trips
   Prof. Edwin Woerdman, Prof. of Markets and Regulation, University of Groningen (The Netherlands)

The webinar is aimed at ENLIGHT staff and students, especially decision-makers, board members and colleagues working in finance, strategy and development, sustainability, environmental protection, and faculties.
