Corporate & Academic Events
The Corporate & Academic Events Team organises a variety of events for the university. You can contact us for advice and support for all your events and meetings. We work closely with other departments and faculties to achieve this.
What can we do for you?

Complete organisation of your event, including a script and communication

Partial organisation of your event

Strategic advice on the organisation and coherence of events within the University of Groningen

Assessment of whether your event fits within the strategic objectives of the University of Groningen

Advice on the look and feel of your event, in line with the guidelines of the University of Groningen's corporate identity
We also advise on aspects such as the set-up of your event, communication, catering, AV services, security and protocols. In short, we are happy to be your sparring partner when it comes to events!
Corporate and Academic events
Corporate events are events organised across the University of Groningen. Examples include conferences, award ceremonies, and meet & greets. In recent years, we have (co-)organised various corporate events:

Academic events are all events of an academic nature. These include the Opening of the Academic Year, the Inaugural Lectures and Honorary Doctorates.
In addition, we can also be hired by faculties for support, partial or full organisation.

You can request this via avevents rug.nl. Among the services they offer are technical advice, podcasts, and AV advice for events.
