Bert Koenders on Covid19 as a challenge to development policies

We are very excited to welcome Bert Koenders on 1 December. The former Minister of Foreign Affairs (2014-2017) is currently Professor of Peace, Justice and Security at Leiden University (Kooijmans Chair) and serves as Special Envoy of the World Bank for Fragile States.

He will discuss COVID-19 as a challenge to development policies together with Max van den Berg of the Globalisation Studies Groningen (GSG) institute (former director of Oxfam and former Member of the European Parliament).

This event will be the kick-off for the GSG Conference on 2 December. The theme of this conference is: COVID-19 and the Impact on the Global South.
