After the same approach for 10 years, it’s now time for something new! The annual Education Day, which includes the Lecturer of the Year elections and the education seminar, is metamorphosing into the Education Festival.
The newly established Teaching Academy Groningen will be organizing the Education Festival on Thursday 12 April 2018 with the aim of promoting interaction among lecturers and stimulating a dialogue about what good education actually is. Visitors can attend parallel sessions, dynamic workshops, poster presentations and demonstrations. Lecturers and students will exchange best practices, learn from each other and generate new ideas. Over fifty lecturers and students will talk about the newest developments.
The Lecturer of the Year Award is part of the Education Festival. The nominated lecturers will each give a mini lecture lasting ten minutes, on which the jury will base their decision about the winner and two runners-up
