ECR Lunch: The Dutch National Research Agenda – what’s in it for me?

When:We 10-10-2018 12:00 - 14:00
Where:Bruinszaal, Academy Building

Funding bodies increasingly expect researchers to form consortia to work on multidisciplinary research programmes. This is also true when applying for funding through the Dutch National Research Agenda (NWA). But what actually are consortia? How does one go about forming a consortium? Can early career researchers lead consortia? Do all disciplines lend themselves for consortia? How to find suitable partners from both academic and non-academic institutions? What kind of projects is the National Research Agenda looking for?

On October 10th, the Young Academy Groningen (YAG) will host a lunch for early career researchers during which these questions will be addressed. Several speakers will share their experience with consortium development and grant application. The event is part of the YAG ECR Lunch series. Participation is free, registration is required.
