This spring and autumn, three fellows of Sustainable Landscapes of the Faculty of Spatial Sciences are organising an unusual study trip through the Wadden landscape: two so-called TriWadWalks.

From 29 May to 4 June, we walk, cycle and sail through the Dutch-German Wadden landscape. For 18 to 24 September, we organise a comparable trip through the Danish-German landscape. Both trips are with colleagues and students from Oldenburg University, University of Bremen, Hamburg University, University of Southern Denmark, and the University of Lüneburg.

During our trip, we trek through the landscape, cross borders and explore what plays out in the Wadden landscape by talking to residents, businesses, aficionados and other stakeholders. With our expedition we strengthen our international Wadden cooperation, and fuel our education and research with current themes and issues. If you are interested in our adventures, follow our exploits via the website of Sustainable landscapes.
