W.L.T. (Willemijn) Krugers Dagneaux

Willemijn Krugers Dagneaux is a PhD candidate focusing on the patient rights of vulnerable patient groups, such as minors as well as people with intellectual disabilities, psychiatric disorders or neurodegenerative diseases. She researches the influence of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities on Dutch patient rights legislation. For her PhD research she received a M20 grant from the Ubbo Emmius Foundation and a grant from ZonMw.
Next to her research, she is a lecturer in health law at the University Medical Center Groningen. Willemijn holds a bachelor’s degree in Dutch law from the University of Groningen (2021), a master’s degree in Health law from the University of Amsterdam (2023), and a master’s degree in Legal research from the University of Groningen (2025).
