As an Academic Information Specialist at the DNPP, I work on collecting, structuring and presenting information and documentation regarding Dutch political parties, their history, culture and position within the political system. Following my background as a political historian, I have a particular interest regarding the intersection of political culture and ideology and in socio-economic politics in the recent history of The Netherlands and the province of Groningen.
In addition to my work on the DNPP, I am a PhD candidate at the Centre for Parliamentary History at Radboud University Nijmegen, where I conduct research into the ability of Dutch parliament and government to learn from history through parliamentary inquiries since the 1980s.
