V. (Vincent) de Boer, MSc

In our university I worked for 9 years as Facultary coordinator video & e-learning for the Faculty Behavioural and Social Sciences. In this role I supported teachers in using video and digital tools in their education, based on didactically sound principles, both on conceptual and practical levels. In 2014 I followed the post-graduate program 'E-learning' at Fontys University of Applied Sciences. Between 2016-2020 I studied at the pre-master Educational Sciences and then the master Educational Sciences at the Open University (OU) in the Netherlands. I graduated on research regarding the promotion of collaborative learning in the online Social Annotation tool Perusall. Starting May 1st 2018 I started working for the CIT, team Educational Innovation & Research, supporting and advising teachers, project leaders and faculties in teaching innovation or changes in their education, the combination of IT & education, collaborative (online) learning, active learning and blended learning. I also lead several projects and workpackes from projects.

As of August 1st 2021 I am working as Coordinator of the central Career Services of the UG. Career Services provides workshops and consulations for all UG students in the field of career preparation and is an important hub for internal career activities at the UG and for relevant networks in the professional field.
