drs. T.N. (Tim) Zwaagstra

Tim Zwaagstra holds a master's degree in European Studies from the University of Amsterdam. Since 2003 he is Regional Manager at the office of the University of Groningen, and has had assignments in Indonesia Coordination, Asia Coordination, Research Funding Acquisition, Phd Recruitment, and Project Management. Currently, he is Senior Policy Adviser Southeast Asia at the department for International Strategy & Relations.

Previous positions include Policy Adviser Academic Affairs (University of Amsterdam) and Policy Adviser Education (University of Groningen).

He grew up in the West, deep South, and North of the Netherlands, and is now a resident of the city of Groningen. He is married, and has two daughters.
