The human body is an intriguingly complex apparatus. It is fascinating to see how the human body is constructed in its anatomy, and how this anatomy is strongly linked to the multitude of functions that the human body can perform. In my role as assistant professor, I share my knowledge and enthusiasm about the functional (neuro)anatomy of the human body. My research revolves around the mechanisms to understand the mechanisms underlying human behaviour (in relation to anatomy), and how behaviours can change when anatomy changes, e.g. during ageing or after injury.
