Through my research on active lifestyles and prevention, I teach students how to use concepts such as exercise capacity and data analysis to better understand human movement and health. The goal is to apply this knowledge to promote movement and physical activity, and to reduce health risks across the lifespan — for everyone, whether they are young or old, in rehabilitation, or a top athlete.
Students learn to support physical activity at all stages of life by reviewing scientific literature, working hands-on with large datasets, and discussing real-world implementation. This approach helps them connect theory with practice and develop evidence-based strategies to promote an active and healthy lifestyle.
