The MOCCA study: MOving from Cannabis to a CBD Alternative

Psychosis is a psychiatric condition that affects approximately 3% of the population. Especially critical for its prognosis are the first years post-onset, when modifiable factors such cannabis use can significantly influence the recovery process. In this double-blind placebo-controlled RCT, we seeks to explore the therapeutic potential of CBD, a non-psychoactive cannabis compound, on mitigating cannabis use in individuals with early psychosis.
