D. (Dana) Mustata, Dr

Dana Mustata has a PhD degree (cum laude) from Utrecht University with a dissertation on a first history of Romanian television entitled ‘The Power of Television: Including the Historicizing of the Live Romanian Revolution’. 

She has done research on (post)socialist television history, European television and audiovisual archives. She has led the NWO-funded collaborative project "Television Histories in (Post)Socialist Europe" and has been a principal investigator on the VENI project "Everyday Matters. Material Historiographies of Television in Cold War Contexts".

She has been teaching widely in the Media Studies BA and MA programmes.
