D.M. (David) Ashford, Dr

I secured my Doctorate in English Literature ten years ago at the University of Cambridge (UK). Since then I have helped to launch two new departments of English, working as a Lecturer at, first, the University of Surrey, and then City, University of London. 

My research specialisms include Modernism, Cultural Geography, Philosophy and Poetics, but I have taught widely, and my interests extend well beyond these fields. 

I have managed post-graduate research-seminars at Cambridge and Surrey, and public-oriented poetry events at Surrey and at City University of London, and will be developing further post-graduate research seminars at the University of Groningen.
