Daniel Leix Palumbo is a PhD candidate at the Centre for Media and Journalism Studies and the Department of Language, Technology & Culture. Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Susan Aasman, Dr. Robert Prey and Dr. Matt Coler, he conducts the research project “From Spoken Audio to Digital Identities: How AI impacts the interpretation of information communicated by the sound of voice“, funded by the "NWO PhDs in the Humanities" grant. His research focuses on the politics and ethics of voice technologies, critical data studies and digital migration studies.
