Cedric’s PhD project is part of the national transdisciplinary project ReGeNL, which is working with farmers on a transition towards a more regenerative agricultural sector that combines farming with soil improvement, nature restoration and a good revenue model for farmers. In the action line Human Capital his research focuses on building up knowledge of the contents of farmers identities, their influence on behaviour and their change over time to better understand the (motivating) role of farmer identities in the transitions towards a futureproof agricultural sector.

The ReGeNL program was established thanks to an investment of the Nationaal Groeifonds.
