C.I. (Christine) Andrä, PhD

In the current academic year (2026/27), Christine Andrä teaches the BA specialization module 'Knowledge, Expertise and Conflict' and the MA module 'Advanced Theory and Research Practice in International Relations'. She also supervises BA and MA theses.
Previous teaching at IRIO has included 'International Politics' (BA), 'Methods and Research Practice' (BA), and 'Theories of International Relations' (BA).
Prior to coming to Groningen, Christine taught undergraduate and postgraduate seminars in IR, peace and conflict studies, and political science at Technical University Dresden, the University of Tübingen, Aberystwyth University, and Goethe University Frankfurt. In 2021, she was awarded the Teaching Prize of the Society of Friends and Supporters of TU Dresden.
