I usually teach a range of courses in our BA and MA programmes. In the academic year 2021-22, I am teaching a reduced number of courses due to parental leave, including an Honours College course on War Remembrance in Ancient Rome, a new course entitled Classics: A Problematic Heritage in the 21st Century, and Latin for Beginners/Latin for Research. I also serve as the chair of the programme committee in which students and staff members jointly work to monitor and improve our BA and MA programmes. I collaborate with students on a range of research projects, including the Fascist Latin digitalization project. In April 2018, I was elected Lecturer of the Year of the University of Groningen.
