Research interests

In my research, I study how animals and atmosphere interact to enable flight. From a physicist point of view, I want to make use of the large diversity and evolution of flying animals to probe aerodynamic phemonena, such as turbulence. As insects in particular have come to an immense plurality of solutions to flying in complex environments, I study how the atmosphere has shaped these solutions in order to better understand it.
