Then take part in this web class! Get to know how psychologists study our thinking, development and our social interaction. Furthermore learn how Psychology is applied in work situations and in the clinical (neuro) practice. This web class offers a short introduction to the field of Psychology. We will introduce you to the varying subjects which Psychology students deal with during their study time. During the web class you will learn about these topics:
Week 1: Cognitive Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology
Week 2: Developmental psychology and Clinical psychology
Week 3: Industrial- and Organizational Psychology and Statistics
Week 4: Writing assignment
Student Workload and Awarding
The web class will take you four weeks with a study load of approximately 10 hours in total. You will receive a certificate if you do the assignments sufficiently every week. It is possible to use this course for credits at your school, but you have to arrange this with your school yourself. You can for example ask your teacher to join this web class, so he/she can keep up with your accomplishments.
The three-year Psychology Bachelor's degree is entirely in English. This web class gives a good impression of the diversity of the degree programme of Psychology. Especially during the first two years you will follow courses from different research fields. During the third year you have a lot of freedom to pick your own courses and specialize in the direction you are most interested in or broaden your knowledge by study abroad or at another faculty for a semester
