At the service desk (of via email) we are happy to help answer your questions. Often you do know what you want to achieve, but do not know what equipment is most suitable for the project. Whether you want to make a simple recording, organize a live stream or need equipment for a presentation: our team is happy to think along with you.
You can rent a range of equipment from us: from camera's (Sony Handcam, HDR, NX5, Osmo) to sound recorders, and from microphones to lights and tripods. In the image below you will find an overview of our equipment, but our advice is always tailored to your needs.
DIY studio
In the DIY studio you can indepently film educational videos. In this five to ten minutes long educational video you can clearly explain a specific topic or concept.
In preparation you create a powerpoint presentation and script for the educational video. In the DIY studio you film yourself in front of a green screen, while you see yourself on video with the powerpoint slides as your background. You can read along with the script using the teleprompter.
Podcast studio
Would you like to record a podcast? We have a professional podcast studio and a mobile podcast set at our disposal. Additionally, we are happy to explain the use and possibilities of these sets.
Reservations and costs
You can reserve equipment by contacting us at avservices rug.nl. Some services or equipment are subject to internal fees. We share prices upon request, and bill through a cost center/ project code for your faculty or department. Students need only communicate which faculty they are studying at and do not pay for equipment rental themselves.
