Description


The purpose of this research is to develop distributed formation control methods under limited information. By limited information it is usually meant that each element of the formation exchange measurements regarding its internal state with a limited number of agents called neighbors. In this research the plan is to go further and investigate the problem in the case the information exchange (and the control laws)are allowed to take values in a finite set and are transmitted (respectively, are applied) asynchronously, and where the dynamics of the elements of the formation have a particular physical structure.
