Funding opportunities

There are multiple ways to get funding for Public Engagement activities. Most larger grants contain parts about communication of the research outcomes, but there are also some (smaller) grants available for Public Engagement activities specifically. Here, we have gathered a number of them.

Note: this list is far from complete and some grants may have ceased to exist. 

• Dutch Science Agenda (NWA) for large grants

• NWO WECOM-call (part of NWA) for science communication specifically

• NWO Open Science programme (Public Engagement is one of the 4 pillars of Open Science)

• Bètadecanen Outreach Fund

• RUG Public Engagement Seed Fund
