Neurology is the medical specialty that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the nervous system: brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves and muscles, both in children and adults. The department of Neurology conducts clinically oriented and translational research with the focus on Movements Disorders, Neurotrauma and Cerebrovascular accidents with the aim to improve patient care.
