How do I keep a proper lab journal? How should I archive it at the end of my project?

Hand-written lab or field journals are to be digitised (scanned or photographed) and added to the (digital) archive. The use of an electronic lab journal is highly recommended. FSE supports eLabJournal, a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) that is part of the platform eLabNext.
