Dr. Mohammadreza Abdollahi (1988) is graduated in medicine from Tabriz AZAD University of Medical Sciences in 2014. During his medical studies, he has been very active in performing researches on gastrointestinal diseases, in Liver and Gastrointestinal Diseases Research Center (LGDRC) Tabriz, Iran. His research projects was focused on autoimmune liver diseases and colon polyps mainly adenomatous polyps. He has developed a new extensive questionnaire about AIH registry program in Iran. Following graduation, he worked for one year (2015) as a researcher and field manager in AZAR cohort study at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences. He is currently a PhD fellow at Unit of Digestive System Diseases, Dept. of Epidemiology, University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG). His PhD project is mainly focus of developing a therapeutic guideline in Autoimmune Hepatitis (AIH) within the frame work of a multicenter collaborative studies. He specifically will focus setting up active registry program for AIH, to perform historical cohort studies on the natural disease course of AIH, followed by a clinical trial on irresponsive AIH patients.
