Bio:

Prof. Adil MOUAHID is an Associate Professor in Chemical Engineering at Aix-Marseille University, M2P2 Laboratory, in Marseille, France. He is a researcher in the “Processes and Supercritical Fluids” group, UMR CNRS 7340. His research interests include supercritical fluids, extraction and fractionation, particle design, crystallization, sterilization, and fluid phase equilibria, with applications in health, materials, and energy.

He holds a PhD degree in Physics from the Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour (UPPA). Thesis: Development of calorimetric-manometric device for the study of the adsorption capacities of supercritical fluids in microporous and mesoporous media.

Prof. Mouahid coordinates the Master’s Degree Programme of Chemical Engineering at Aix-Marseille University and over the years taught applied thermodynamics, process simulation, MATLAB for process modelling, unit operations, and gas treatment. Prof. Mouahid is also in charge of Modelling and simulation calculations.

His recent publications include work on supercritical CO₂ extraction kinetics and sterilization under mild conditions. Full list of publications available on ORCID.
