Hartfalen

Onderzoek naar hartfalen, in het bijzonder van neurohumorale aspecten, waarbij onderscheiden wordt:

a. hartfalen algemeen;

b. ischaemisch hartfalen;

c. hartfalen op basis van ritme- en geleidingsstoornissen;

d. preventie cardiologie en vaatlijden;

e. congenitale afwijkingen.

In het bijzonder wordt nauw samengewerkt met de vakgroep Klinische Farmacologie, vakgroep Inwendige Geneeskunde (sectie algemene inwendige geneeskunde, nefrologie en hematologie), het PET-centrum. Het onderzoekprogramma is ingebracht in het GIDS. Een deel is landelijk ingebed in het ICIC.
