Title: The Helpful Environment - Geographically Dispersed Intelligent Agents that Collaborate
Abstract:
The Helpful Environment is the term used to describe a range of collaborative projects we have been involved in over the last decade. It involves the creation and use of task-centric virtual organizations, individuals, government and non-governmental organizations, automated systems, grid and web services working alongside intelligent robotic, vehicle, building and environmental systems to respond to very dynamic events on scales from local to global. This talk will describe some of the applications and collaborations involved, and our own technical contributions to them.
