Living and Accommodation Expenses

About € 500 in cash will be enough to cover any (regular) expenses during the first few days. Students arriving in the Netherlands at Schiphol Airport can get a train from the airport to Groningen every 30 minutes (from the airport to Groningen takes about 2 ½ hours).

A one-way second-class ticket from Schiphol to Groningen costs about € 25.
