Schedule of courses

The academic year is split into two semesters, each with two teaching blocks. Each block includes 6 weeks of lectures followed by one study week and an exam period (usually 3 weeks; 4 weeks after block 4). 

Below is the list of exchange law courses for 2026–2027. Click a course name for the full description, and check the requirements for incoming exchange law students before choosing. For the most up-to-date information, consult the Exchange Programme Law in Ocasys. Important: Courses not listed there are not available to exchange students.

BA = Bachelor level course
MA = Master level course

* special course offered exclusively to exchange students. A C1 level of English is required.

¹ entry requirement = Public International Law; either done in Groningen or similar course at home university.
² entry requirement = Law of the European Union; either done in Groningen or similar course at home university.
³ entry requirement = a Contracts Law course; done at home university.

⁴ entry requirement = Data Protection; done in Groningen or similar course at home university.

⁵ entry requirement = Intellectual Property Law; done at home university.

⁶ entry requirement = Technology Law; done at home university.
