This event marks the launch of Market Regulation and Private Law:
The Quest for Reconciliation in European Private Law
by Olha O. Cherednychenko (Cambridge University Press, 2026). The book offers a new theoretical perspective on the relationship between market regulation and private law in the face of contemporary challenges, such as climate change, the digitalisation of the marketplace, and growing inequality, with significant practical implications for a wide range of areas. 

The event will feature a brief introduction to the book by the author, followed by a panel discussion with leading scholars and practitioners.
