18th Annual Legal Research Network Conference
The Faculties of Law of the Legal Research Network invite researchers to the 18th annual LRN Conference. The 2026 edition focuses on the theme “Borders”, understood both in a literal and metaphorical sense.
The conference brings together senior and early-career researchers to present and discuss internationally oriented legal research in an in-person, English-language setting.
Aim of the Conference
The Legal Research Network Conference provides a platform for senior and junior scholars to present and discuss internationally oriented legal research.
It is especially aimed at PhD researchers and early-career academics, offering the opportunity to engage with colleagues from across the LRN partner universities. The conference is held in English and will take place in person.
Call for Papers
We welcome contributions from all areas of law where the concept of borders, understood as boundaries, barriers, or limitations, plays a role.
Doctoral and early-career researchers from all LRN partner universities are especially encouraged to submit.
Participation without presenting a paper is also possible for members of the network.
Abstract deadline: 10 May 2026
