About Foundations of AI

AI is fundamentally an interdisciplinary science to which many disciplines have contributed. In this theme researchers with unique perspectives on the nature of natural and artificial intelligence are brought together to explore new synergies.

Possible perspectives are large language models, cognitive architectures, brain-like computing, reasoning approaches to AI, and potentially many others.

This theme includes what we elsewhere also called Integrative AI and Cognitive AI.
