Keynote speaker Stefan Baack

We’re excited to welcome Stefan Baack as the keynote speaker for this event. Stefan is a senior researcher at the Mozilla Foundation, where he focuses on data governance and AI training datasets, supporting the organization’s campaigns and policy work with his expertise.

He has played a key role in Mozilla’s Internet Health Report and the IRL podcast, contributing research insights, fact-checking, and data visualizations. His research explores the intersection of data, journalism, and civic technology, and he has held fellowships at the Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society and the Weizenbaum Institute, where he examined transnational collaborations and the role of leaks in investigative journalism.
