The next meeting of Groningen Islamic Studies will be Friday, 15 March 2013, 16-17u, room 123, at Oude Boteringestraat 38.
We will have the pleasure to hear Dr. Lidewijde de Jong, who is Rosalind Franklin Fellow in Antique and Islamic Archaeology. The title of her lecture is: Cities in the Steppe: North Mesopotamian urbanization in the Early Islamic period.
This meeting will be followed by drinks in the hall of the Faculty of Theology & Religious Studies. Everybody is welcome to attend, no registration is necessary.
