Selection criteria

Eligible candidates:	women living in Finland or Estonia
Grant information:	Purposes: for women living in Finland or Estonia to support research, further education or PhD training; the target area is the increase in women's poverty and the power of art to maintain health Programmes: PhD-studies in Humanities and Theology, Cultural and Civic Activities, Medicine and Health Sciences, Social, Economic and Behavioral Sciences The fund supports Finnish and Estonian female students and researchers by awarding scholarships for research, postgraduate or PhD education. Scholarships are announced for applications in the spring of odd-numbered years. The themes of the scholarship application are usually related to current social themes. There are 3-6 scholarships worth 2000-4000 euros to be distributed; the amount to be distributed is 15,000 euros.
Grant provider:	Lisa Andström Fund, a memorial fund established by Hamina’s Zonta club in 1983.

Deadline:	Applications must be submitted no later than May 1.
