HonduFuturo Crédito-Beca

Candidates must be:

• Honduran
• Have obtained a bachelor degree.
• Have advanced in their admission process at the destiny HEI.
• Proficient in the language of teaching in the destination HEI.
• Able to write an essay.
• Able to pay the awarding process.

Purposes: To obtain funding for maximum 2 years of a master or PhD studies outside of Honduras

Up to 50.000USD in two years (25.000USD per year)

• Interest rate is 5-6% during the period of studies, 7-8% during amortization time and 9.95% of speeded amortization (if not returning to Honduras).
• Student can be condoned if they return to Honduras 3-5 years: 20% if their studies are related to administration and business, 40% in all other areas, and extra 20% if they become a university teacher for a year.
