Purposes:
To support outstanding students and graduates in pursuing advanced studies, thereby contributing to the development of scientific research and education.
Regular Scholarships Programme:
- Fundamental Sciences, Life Sciences, Applied Sciences/Technology and Social Sciences
- For students pursuing Master’s degrees (postgraduate studies) either in Greece or abroad.
- Eligible for recent graduates or final-year students of Greek nationality.
'Stamatis G. Mantzavinos' Postdoctoral Research Scholarships Programme:
- Fundamental Sciences, Life Sciences, and Applied Sciences/Technology.
- For postdoctoral researchers active in Greece to undertake postdoctoral research abroad.
- Enables them to expand their research skills and contribute back to Greece’s scientific community.
Scholarships for Visiting Research Scientists:
- Fundamental Sciences, Life Sciences, and Applied Sciences/Technology
- For research scientists currently active in Greece to undertake a scientific visit of up to 6 months at a university or research center abroad.
- Open to researchers in all scientific fields aiming to build international collaborations and networks.

'Stamatis G. Mantzavinos' Postdoctoral Research Scholarships Programme:
Four scholarships for research in Greece or abroad over a period of two years will be granted to PhD holders, with the possibility of an extension of one more year
Scholarships for Visiting Research Scientists:
Offers short-term scholarships for researchers in Greece to visit academic institutions or research centers abroad
Particularly suitable for financing up to 2 years in Groningen of a Double Degree PhD project.
