Liberal Arts and Sciences
The Pre-University Academy has created the web classes to give high school students a better picture of what it is like to study at a university. We hereby put the focus on the content and the methods of a Bachelor’s programme. This way, you can experience what the first year of your study will look like.

Are you curious about exploring a truly interdisciplinary approach to higher education? Join the Liberal Arts and Sciences web class offered by University College Groningen, and experience what makes our programme unique.
Over four weeks, you’ll dive into a variety of fascinating topics, blending knowledge from the sciences, social sciences, and humanities. You’ll discover how to think creatively and critically about some of the most pressing challenges of our time, such as climate change and artificial intelligence. You’ll also explore topics like human rights, social psychology, genetics, and intercultural competencies, gaining insights that are both broad and deep.
Our web class gives you a taste of what it’s like to navigate a diverse study trajectory, collaborate with intercultural groups, and embrace the rich community of University College Groningen. This is your opportunity to see if our Liberal Arts and Sciences programme is the perfect fit for your academic ambitions.
