Physics & Applied Physics
In this 4-week web class, you will be introduced to important topics in Physics and Applied Physics to give you an idea about the type of content, way of thinking, and work that you can expect from Physics and Applied Physics at the University of Groningen, as well as the difference in focus between the two studies. The first two weeks will be dedicated to Physics and the next two weeks will be dedicated to Applied Physics.
Web class
The topics for the web class are structured as follows:
- Week 1: Relativity
- Week 2: Particle Physics
- Week 3: Material Sciences
- Week 4: Solar Cells
Autumn edition
The autumn edition of the web classes will take place from 9 November - 6 December 2026.
Registration via this site will start on Monday 5 October 2026 at 10:00 (CET). Registration closes on Wednesday 4 November 2026 at 23:55 (CET).
