Mathematics & Applied Mathematics
In this web class you will explore different topics within the fields of mathematics and applied mathematics. How do mathematicians write proofs about properties of numbers? How can we model physical phenomena related to earthquakes? How do we compute the probabilities in random walks? This web class provides a short introduction to these topics.

This course gives a good impression of the way mathematics is taught at the University of Groningen. In fact, the material covered is taken from a selection of first-year courses.
