Chemical Engineering

Web class

In this web class, you’ll discover how chemical engineers design and
optimize the processes behind the products we use every day. We will
explore four key areas of chemical engineering: sustainable processing,
mass balances and reactor engineering, physical transport phenomena,
and product technology.

You’ll learn how these principles are applied to industrial processes, suchas producing fuels, polymers, and pharmaceuticals. We’ll also look at how engineers design chemical products by connecting molecular properties to
real-world applications, such as stronger materials, renewable energy, and
innovative consumer products.

If you’re excited about solving technical challenges and designing and improving (renewable) industrial processes, chemical engineering is the study program for you!
